You can restrict the patterns showed in the Results Sheet to a certain filtered set. Filters are useful to generate partial reports and totals.
Important: Reports and the Patterns Sheet will show the filtered patterns only. To filter patterns in the solution:
1. In the Results Sheet click in the column to filter by and select Filter Patterns from the Edit menu.
2. From the Filtering Patterns window, define a Filtered Set (a comma-separated list of values or ranges). For example: 3,5,10-15,34-50
3. Press OK.
Only the patterns in the filtered list (set) will be showed.
To delete the filter, select Remove Filter from the Edit menu.
Important: When filtering by material do not use dimension but index values.
Tip: You can filter columns indicating quantity (Repetition, P1, P2, ...) by defining a range from 1 to a large number being greater than the maximum possible value in the column. For example, to see “only the patterns that distributes the part #1” , apply the filter “1-1000” to column P1 provided no patterns distributes P1 more than 1000 times. To get the maximum value in a column, you can sort descending and then look at the first row. |
