In the Data Sheet you introduce the parts-to-obtain and materials-to-cut data. To activate the Data Sheet, select Data , Parts or Materials from the View menu.
At the left-bottom border of this sheet you can alternate between the Parts and Materials tabs. Note: The Data Sheet is automatically activated whenever a launch is created new or opened from disk.
Each of the Data Sheet tabs shows a table containing the following columns:
Id : The part or material consecutive index. Corte assigns this number automatically and uses it as a reference in the other views of the launch.
Length, Width: The dimensions of the part or material.
Quantity: For a part, it defines the number of units needed, that is, its request. For a material, it defines the number of units available, that is, its availability. A blank or zero value means unlimited availability.
Desc1, Desc2: This fields can be optionally filled for documentation purposes.
Act: The activation state of the part or material.
Important: Inactive parts or materials are not taken into account when calculating the cutting patterns.
When editing data you can do the following:
Tip: Right click anywhere in the table to display a context menu that contains commonly used options.
Important: Whether you have calculated the cutting patterns, every action that modifies either dimensions or indexes (neither quantities nor descriptions) of the current parts or materials would delete the calculated solution since it would not be possible to guarantee correspondence between actual data and their references in the cutting patterns. A handy exception of that is the insertion of new parts or materials beyond the last row of their corresponding tables since it would not affect the indexes currently referenced. |
