You can configure many launch options to customize units, calculations, cutting technology, environment colors and labels.

To configure your launch options, from the Tools menu select Options.

Tip: To automatically apply the current configuration to all new created launches, mark Set as default at the left-bottom border of the Options window

The aspects  you can configure are the following:

Length Units Format: You can define units formats at different precision in both  Metric and English systems

Conversion of Existing Data: Whenever you change the units format in a launch that contained data already, you can convert from the current (existing) units to the new (just defined) units. To do that, from the Units tab, type the conversion scale and select Convert. You always can undo if unexpected results.

Example:  To convert from inches to millimeters use the scale 1 = 25.4.

Important: To preserve current units after a change of precision you should make the conversion using the scale 1 = 1.

Optimization Level: Sets up an agreement between quality and speed of the optimization. The calculation process could be slowed down as much as the number of different part types is increased (not the request for each part). You can activate until three optimization levels which will be all successively applied during calculation.

Note: You can force passing from one level to the next by pressing the Force button in the calculation window.

Theoretical Optimum Solution: You can disable the calculation of the theoretical optimum solution whether the launch is expected to consume little material.

Tip: To have an idea of the material  to be consumed, from the Tools menu select  Minimum Reachable Consumption.

Cutting: This tab allows you to configure the cutting type, technological options and reusable offcut.

Colors: You can change colors of several items in the Corte’s environment.

Labels: You can define a customized labels format. (see Customizing Labels)
